Paspaley is involved in a Special Mission Aviation business based at Brisbane International Airport providing Flight Inspection Services to both Australian and International clients operating two Beech King Air B350 aircraft.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in a full-time position working Monday to Friday.
There may at times be some field work requirements so you will need to be able to travel on short notice.
Duties shall include:
• Assist with Aircraft Maintenance including scheduled inspections, maintenance due items and defect (AOG) rectifcations
• Complying with the contents of the Engineering Procedures Manual (EPM);
• Correctly endorsing of, and certification of aircraft documentation for maintenance performed;
• Maintenance support both nationally within Australia and Internationally when required;
• Reporting any defects;
• Reporting any unsafe conditions, eg tools requiring repair, spills etc;
• Assist with maintenance of GSE;
• Ensure that GSE Calibration are in date prior to use;
• Ensure work practices, together with equipment type are inline with requriements set out in the EPM and CASA requirements;
• Assist as required with the Stores, such as annual stocktakes;
• Assist with hangar maintenance and cleanliness;
We require the following from all candidates:
• AME qualified by CASA or relevant training with a min 3 years experience;
• Experience on PT6 Engines within the last 12 months;
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical & drug test;
• Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC);
• Applicants must be an Australian citizen;
• A high level of verbal and written communication skills;
• An Aircraft Mechanical Engineer licence issued by CASA or a foreign aviation authority would be an advantage.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision as well as part of a wider team.
• Hold a valid state driving licence.
