Experian is a trusted partner to many of the largest and most ambitious lenders in Australia and we are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team. In this role you will provide subject matter expertise to our clients across a broad range of areas including: comprehensive credit reporting, responsible lending, best practice bureau strategy across the credit lifecycle, credit modelling and open banking. This important role supports our sales teams in market, provides our clients with world-class insights, expertise and services and supports the voice of customer in our product roadmap.
Experian Credit Services helps organisations to evaluate the risks and rewards associated with providing credit to consumers. We help our clients to take better informed lending decisions and to make it easier and quicker for their customers to obtain finance.
What you’ll need to bring to the party
- Deep domain knowledge of credit risk, customer management, collections, modelling, analytics and credit bureaux is considered extremely beneficial.
- Motivation and the drive to achieve successful outcomes
- Ability to flex to different work and communication styles, as this will be required to work successfully with a broad range of customers and Experian stakeholders
- A strong commercial understanding and the ability to demonstrate return on investment
What you’ll be doing- Reporting to the Director of Client Advisory
- Sales Support and Enablement
o Partner with sales as a trusted adviser to key clients (both prospective and existing) where you will provide consultation to drive their business strategies and help them meet their goals
o Help to build pipeline for customer analytics and retros, and work closely with the credit services analytics team to execute
- Voice of Customer
o Provide subject matter expertise with a strong working knowledge of all Experian’s products and services
o Work in tandem with Product Management to optimise existing solutions and to define and develop new capabilities and offerings
- Customer Success
o Support solution design for clients by facilitating workshops, gathering and validating requirements
o Working closely with colleagues, drive client engagement through a variety of engagement including governance meetings, provision of insights, systems integration and analytical type exercises.
- Industry
o Build trust for the Experian credit services business through thought leadership and education, including the development of white papers and collateral
o Engage with regional and global consultants and credit services teams to bring insights and initiatives to the A/NZ business
