Field Service Technician (Electronic Equipment Trades Worker)
Job Description:
Sydney Appliance Service, located in Blakehurst, NSW is an appliance repair service committed to provide courteous, prompt and professional services. Sydney Appliance Service requires three Field Service Technicians. This role is for an experienced motivated electronic equipment technician with a minimum of 5 years’ stable experience preferred.
Tasks:
• Repair, test, reassemble electro-mechanical equipment including refrigeration units, washing machines, electrical and electronic catering equipment
• Read Circuit Diagrams accurately
• Outline Parts Exploded View
• Recognise faulty and wearing parts and determining optimum parts replacement or modification solutions
• Use Multimetres and different types of hand tools and gas gauges, cylinders and scales
• Test, adjust and interpret diagnostic readings and fault codes
• Be computer literate
• Utilise Inventory Management skills and maintaining correct stock
Other requirements include:
• Preferred relevant formal technical training in electronic, electro mechanical equipment.
• Excellent time management skills.
• organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Provide Good Customer Service Skills
• Provide Customers with Scope of work carried out
• Advise clients on correct operating procedures
• Job reports must be clear detailed
• Well-presented wearing uniforms and ensure clean work environment
Package:
• Full-time;
• 38 hours per week (additional hours as per contract and as reasonably required);
• Salary is $74,000 pa;
