Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Projects officer in Recreation and Tourism Services to join our dynamic team for 4-6month role. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying opportunities for social change, liaising with various stakeholders, conducting public consultations, and contributing to the development of programs and projects that enrich our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities and assess potential impacts of social change on recreation and leisure facilities.
Liaise and negotiate with government and non-government agencies, including State government agencies, peak interest groups, industry lobby groups, and community organizations to develop programs and projects.
Conduct public consultations with internal and external customers.
Assist the Manager Recreation & Tourism Services in recruiting and selecting consultants and third parties to achieve set goals.
