About the role The Maintenance Manager role is a key position in the SeaLink NT leadership team, responsible for maintaining the vessels and company assets to the highest standard to ensure a safe and efficient operation. The position leads, plans and prioritises to effectively:
Maintain vessel maintenance schedules, troubleshoot, diagnose and rectify engineering issues throughout the fleet.
Ensure ferries and equipment comply with all legislation and standards
Manage costs in line with budget
Provide guidance and training to the onboard Marine crew
A key outcome of this role is to ensure we continue to offer reliable on-time running
