Northern Beaches Hospital, Frenchs Forest invites applications from competent and experienced Supervisors to join our team. You will make an impact by leading and motivating your staff to deliver great service in the Guest Services department. We are looking for 1x full time staff to fill a Wardsperson Supervisor role. Northern Beaches Hospital is a 490 bed facility operated by Healthscope. Treating both private and public in and outpatients, NBH provides acute medical, surgical and mental health care to Sydney's Northern Beaches. Located on the Northern Beaches, the hospital is extremely well-situated and its management supports and encourages staff to achieve work-life balance, while actively supporting their professional development. Central to the Supervisor role is:
Ensure a high level of service is provided and maintained
Follow all procedures relating to each role
Plan and allocate workload to staff
Ensure staff provide excellent customer service, employ safe work practices and manual handling techniques as well as identifying and reporting hazards
Coordinate daily operational activities and preparation of task lists and work schedules
Motivate, support and train staff
Provide hands on service
Hospital equipment
Preventative maintenance scheduling and accountability
Stakeholder relationships including third party and suppliers
Maintaining cleanliness of equipment to meet infection control requirements and maintained and keeping work area clean and tidy always
Mortuary operations
HOURS : You will work 76 hours/fortnight and are must have availability to work Monday to Sunday between 7am to 3pm As an experienced Supervisor with a passion for developing talent within the team, you will also possess the following skills and attributes:
Previous supervisory experience within the healthcare or hospitality industry
Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards & EQuIPNational, Work Health and Safety, Infection Prevention and Control standards, Waste management
Proven experience developing high performing teams with a service excellence approach
Passionate about building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
Impeccable attention to detail
Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Competent computer skills
