National Director, People & Performance

We seek to appoint an enterprising executive with a finance or commercial business management background and a growth mindset to partner with the CEO, CFO, COO and our Service Line Managing Directors to identify opportunity for performance improvements and enhance productivity to ensure revenue and EBITDA growth across Australia. This position will lead the People & Performance function as a key member of the Australian Executive Team, enhancing our culture and contributing to future success of Colliers.

What will this role offer the right person ?

  • Accountability to execute key elements of the Australian business plan, which underpins our Global Enterprise ’25 plan.
  • Work nationally with senior leadership to deliver their annual business plans, helping them to grow profit and enhance culture.
  • Influence operating expenditure as well as investment in people and platforms.
  • Be part of M&A opportunities, in the due diligence and integration phases.
  • Autonomy to identify and propose efficiency measures across the whole of business.
  • Develop and lead both the People, and the Performance strategies, creating business cases for human capital investments to maximise ROI.
  • Innovate with technology to increase productivity.

 

This role will lead a very well-established People & Performance service line that has teams specialising in HR, and Careers. The HR team delivers the annual calendar of events that includes but is not limited to on-boarding, employee benefits, health & wellbeing, workplace health and safety management, learning and development, the promotions process and our people engagement survey, as well as HR data and system administration, HR policies and processes, compliance, and process improvement. The Careers team is responsible for organic growth through recruitment, retention and internal mobility.
