In this traditional yet pivotal Business Services Manager role, you will utilise your extensive tax and compliance expertise to support and lead a team of skilled Accountants. This office-based position, operating from 9am to 5:30pm, emphasizes team development, client relationship management, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you may engage with larger client accounts as necessary.
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
Team Leadership and Development: Provide strategic guidance and robust support to a team of 5 Accountants. Foster a collaborative, productive environment that encourages professional growth and high performance.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of Medical and Allied Health professionals.
Regulatory Compliance and Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the firm's compliance and adoption of best practices.
File Review and Reporting: Conduct thorough reviews of completed financial files and prepare comprehensive reports for monthly presentations to Partners.
Financial Preparation and Oversight: Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial accounts, income tax returns, BAS, and IAS as required.
You will have:
Minimum of 8+ years in Australian public practice, with a substantial background in tax and compliance.
Demonstrated strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing teams, budgets, and client partnerships effectively.
Possess a sharp analytical mind capable of dissecting financial data and providing strategic advice.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding organizational and time management capabilities.
Proven history of delivering exceptional client service and expertly handling client interactions.
Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations, team dynamics, client needs, and industry trends.
