My Australia Direct Pty Ltd is currently accepting applications for the position of “Events Manager” in Moore Park, NSW.
Our client is a business which offers end to end management of events for all styles and scales. They are a well established business that has been operating in Australia for several years. They boast a strong client base, having worked on numerous very high profile events over the years, and they have a strong reputation based in quality service and infrastructure.
This is a full time position with annual earnings between $73,150 to $95,000 plus superannuation.
Typical job duties include:
• End to end planning and operations of events
• Compile comprehensive pre and post event documentation and reports(including compliance sales and financials)
• Being adaptable to move with the times and organise online promotions/events as required
• Assist bump in and out coordination of events
• Produce tender responses and proposals
• Assist in creation of operational procedures and systems for the business
• Other misc. duties as stipulated by the director of the company
• Manage assistant’s daily tasks and oversee their performance. This will include providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team.
• Planning event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
• Coming up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
• Preparing budgets and ensuring adherence
• Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery.
• Overseeing the smooth running of events on the day and being available to respond to client needs as they arise
Experience required
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an events planning or organising role
• Tertiary academic qualification is desirable
• Experience of working to tight timeframes for demanding clients
• Experience of managing relationships with multiple parties and working withpersonnel in hospitality/entertainment industry
