The Planning Hub is seeking a talented full time Town Planner and/or Senior Town Planner to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to apply their written and communication skills in a town planning consultancy located in the Sydney CBD and Camden Office.
Who We Are
The Planning Hub is a town planning consultancy involved in a wide range of projects throughout Sydney and NSW. Projects include including providing high-level town planning advice to a range of stakeholders including developers, Local Government, and community, assisting clients in the formulation and lodgement of Development Applications, work on behalf of a range of Local Government Council's, Strategic Planning work, managing whole projects and providing expert advice in the Land and Environment Court.
The Position
The position provides an opportunity for the right person to gain a wide range of experience assisting and managing projects which include:
Preparation of due diligence advice to clients;
Preparation of town planning reports including Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements and Planning Proposals;
Preparation of town planning Development Application assessment reports;
Lodgement of Development Applications and liaison with Council staff; and
Working alongside other professionals on a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects with the aim of delivering projects working within deadlines and budget.
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual who is passionate about gaining experience across a wide range of projects throughout Sydney and NSW.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Successfully completed a tertiary degree in Town Planning with 1 years+ industry experience;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong organisational management with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines;
A confident self-starter who is passionate to learn; and
Able to work full time.
Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have a desire to learn, take on new challenges and be part of an exciting team undertaking development across Sydney and NSW.
