Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Reporting to our Workflow and higher management you will assist in all areas of Pre-Site works and be a highly valued member of our team who will take ownership of designing master plans, construction plans, supporting documentation and managing drafting team.
Provide Construction Drawings within allocated time frames
Produce/maintain master drawings & structural designs
Interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice
Managing drafting / building team
preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specifications
preparing, editing and revising plans, maps, charts and drawings
Researching, analysing and developing 2D and 3D architectural proposals
Produce accurate plans to meet specifications for RVSA requirements
Support Sales, Estimating & Drafting where needed
Consulting with sales reps across the industry
Coordinating work programs
inspecting work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards
calculating costs and estimating time scales
Following clients requirements
Ordering / monitoring stock levels
Communicate with Consultants, Engineers & Subcontractors
Supervising / monitoring production area
About You
Experience in a similar role
Experience and knowledge of RVSA
Architectural drafting experience
Strong communicator and a proven ability to priorities tasks
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience in construction or manufacturing industry highly regarded
Strong organizational ability and initiative
Experience in the design of caravan furniture
Strong leadership & communication skills
Computer skills with programs not limited to MS Excel and other drafting CAD Software.
In depth knowledge of relevant drafting/design software programs (Proficient in AutoCAD & 3D drawings)
In depth knowledge of caravan industry manufacture processes
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to overcome challenges & adapt to changing circumstances.
Have your own transport is an advantage due to limited public transport
Terms & Conditions of Employment
Salary negotiable depending on skill level
Hours of Duty: Monday-Friday 7.00am-3.30pm
Annual leave to be taken during company closures
On site car parking available
Compulsory tea & lunch breaks
