Cook

A busy and popular restaurant located in Queensland is seeking the services of an experienced Cook. We are looking for someone who is hard working, creative, organised and have the skills to prepare delicious meals according to menu.
Position requirements:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes.
Good knowledge of modern Asian and Australian cuisine, food trends and special dietary requirements.
Portion food on plates and adds sauces and garnishes
Keep track of stock of raw materials
Ensure all food hygiene and food safety requirements are met

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and at least 2 years previous working experience in a busy kitchen. You will have demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, good communication, time management and ability to work under pressure. In addition, we require you to have a passion for cooking and experience with contemporary and traditional cooking.
