Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $95,000-$105,000 inclusive of superannuation
Location: Office location will be determined dependent on the right applicant, as we have offices based in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane

Role Overview
The role of the Performance team is to deliver the highest excellence in Implementation Planning and Buying, spanning Social, Search, Programmatic and E-Comm, powered by data, technology, and automation, ensuring client campaigns are executed and amplified in an effective, efficient, and future facing way.
The role of Director within the Performance team is to lead, with overall responsibility for the direction, workflow and quality of Implementation Planning and Buying for the client team.

Key Responsibilities
People
· Openly communicate and collaborate with all internal key stakeholders and reports regularly
· Hold regular performance evaluation meetings with reports throughout the year, setting SMART KPIs and creating a clear career development plan with them.
· Review your team's training needs to make sure their career plans are aligned to their progression. Responsible for training and development of all members of the team.
· Responsible for overseeing workflow between all members of the team and escalating any issues.
Clients
· Establish an understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiatives.
· Help build on the agency's reputation for outstanding client service.
· Build strong and enduring client relationships at a senior level.
· Help to provide innovative strategic insights by acting as an expert on the client's business, industry and competitors
· Clear understanding of the in-scope services of your clients and the process for completing work above and beyond.
Product
· Engage with our media partners to build knowledge of the media landscape and understanding of core media principles and the capabilities of each media touchpoint.
· Work collaboratively with Media and/or platform partners, ensuring strong relationships are developed from the outset and you have an understanding about their offerings and relevance to our clients
· Engage with internal product teams including GroupM proprietary product and service teams to ensure you have an understanding about their offerings and relevance to our clients.
· Confident in your knowledge of media planning principles (e.g. scheduling, flighting, recency, effective reach theories, seasonality, market prioritisation, roles of all communication channels) and strong ability to utilise agency and industry tools to enhance and support planned recommendation.
· Support the development of media plans, including media plan reconciliation, and the update of plan changes, to ensure accuracy.
· Enrich on-going campaign optimisation to improve business objectives, such as ROAS and CPA, delivering across a range of touch points; sales, store visits, online submissions, downloads etc.
· Complete and maintain all Performance platform certifications (Search, Display, Mobile, Video, Commerce).
· Challenges the status quo offered by platforms, thinking critically about their solutions to get the best outcomes for our clients.
· Use data within platforms to provide insights for client teams & clients to use across other marketing and advertising channels.
· Ensure all reporting is clear, jargon-free and insightful for clients.
· Able to construct and present robust Implementation plans, that are grounded in strategic priorities.
· Brings innovation and creativity to the table, leveraging insights from across the market.
· Developing future fit, market leading Performance strategies for your clients, to fuel growth for their business.
· Ensure client Investment deliverables are met consistently, across all touchpoints.
· Construct and present insightful and progressive post analysis reports.
· Responsible for ensuring all financial and compliance processes are followed with 100% accuracy, including bookings and loadings
· Responsible for the overall delivery of client trading KPI’s
· Seek to find, communicate and implement improvements in all aspects of the role.
· Deliver a well-informed POV in every meeting, providing innovative strategic insights by acting as an expert in your craft.
Growth & Marketing
· Collaborate closely with your Manager to identify, collate and showcase examples of great work from within the team, both internally and externally.
· Build the agency’s reputation by contributing to entries for awards and competitions
· Contribute to thought leadership across the agency’s owned assets (Website, Social, EDM’s etc.)
· Share relevant and insightful commentary internally, for the broader agency.
· Be a positive face of the agency at industry events, either related to clients’ category or our media partners.
· Develop market leading profile via strong relationships internally and externally
