Beifang Foods is a well-established local meat processing company founded in Sydney in 1993. Our main business is processing, packing, storing and distributing of meat products to all states in Australia. Based in Silverwater NSW, we are looking for full-time positions and full training will be provided. As a full-time, permanent employee, you will work a minimum 38 hours per week with the potential for overtime.
Your responsibilities are:
1. Cuts meat to separate meat, fat and tissue from around bones
2. Cuts sides and quarters of meat into standard meat cuts, such as rumps, flanks and shoulders, and removes internal fat, blood clots, bruises and other matter to prepare them for packing and marketing
3. Maintaining the correct product specifications
4. Performs all work in accordance with the company's quality policy, manual, procedures, processes, and work instructions.
The right applicants will meet the following requirements:
• Full Working Rights in Australia are essential
• A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in Boning, Slicing or Sawing duties required
• Relevant qualification (Certificate III in Meat Processing) advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge and understanding of Quality requirements
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with supervisors on improving daily duties
• High focus and attention to detail
• By physically fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the job
• Reliable, committed, on time and positive work attitude
• Able to work in a diverse team with varying backgrounds, knowledge and experience
• Possess or willing to obtain Q Fever Vaccination
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and Alcohol & Drug test
