About the Company:
Our client is a prominent almond processing plant situated in Carwarp, VIC, just a 30-minute drive south of Mildura, VIC.
With the growing demand for onsite machinery maintenance, our client is currently seeking Diesel Mechanics and Small Engine Mechanics to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, and service equipment as directed by the plant manager.
• Ensure all mobile equipment is safe to operate.
• Keep service records up-to-date.
• Maintain a clean work area, including all tools, machines, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
Position Requirements:
• Mechanical trade background, including but not limited to: Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Fitter, Automotive Maintenance Technician. LV Mechanics may be considered depending on experience.
• Agricultural knowledge and experience are desirable but not essential.
• Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety & Continuous Improvement.
• Effective time management and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be offered a base salary ranging from $73,150 to $80,000 annually, plus superannuation.
