Several positions available within Building Information team of an integral Federal Government department. Your new company
An integral Federal Government Department with approximately 1000 staff members, who support the functions and provide essential services to one of our nation's most important buildings. Within the Planning and Quality branch, they are seeking several team members (Level 4 & 5) to join the Building Information team on a non-ongoing contract / S26 transfer.
Your new role
Under limited/general directions, the duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and deliver quality information (accurate, relevant and timely) of the Building through supporting the effective and efficient management Technical Information repository, in accordance with industry best practice
Support project documentation across a variety of documentation types including Operation and Maintenance Manuals (OMMs), Computer Aid Drafting (CAD) documentation and Building Information Models (BIM) to ensure compliance
Provide excellent customer focused service to respond to customer enquiries/requests, through clear, concise and effective stakeholder engagement.
Support the Building Information objectives by undertaking administrative tasks including detailed research, analysis, tracking and reporting, as well as undertaking on-site inspections/visits, setting up and maintaining measuring equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
Technical background (engineering services or trade, facilities manager, or possible architecture background with a good grasp of engineering technicalities).
Operations and Maintenance Manuals O&M's familiarity or ability to gain an understanding.
CAD capabilities and BIM knowledge required
Revit knowledge is ideal but not essential.
Strong written communication skills (emails, reports etc.)
You must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
