This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm. This is a hands on role, supporting both client groups at the site. Inventory management involves tracking and controlling the flow of goods within a warehouse or organization. In includes managing stock levels, ordering and reordering inventory and optimizing inventory turnover. As an Inventory Team Manager your will direct, co-ordinate and supervise inventory activities to achieve service and cost objectives, ensuring that tasks are completed in the most efficient manner, in line with agreed standards in operational procedures, national strategy and in a manner ensuring regulatory and legislative compliance at all times. Key Responsibilities
Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for sales, shipping or delivery
Compliance requirements of the warehouse are continually reviewed and reported to ensure both the customer and Toll's financial and audit expectations are met
Use data and software to record inventory and reorder stock
Analyse and plan and coordinate stock through the warehouse functions
Display the stock reconciliation into acceptable reports for both the customer and management of Toll
Provide and account for accurate stock control
Ensure people are engaged and managed to ensure a positive workplace culture that meets the organisations compliance requirements
Identify continuous improvements and encourage an innovative culture
Ensure customer expectations are met and managed accordingly
To be successful in this role, you will need:
3 -5 Years in Logistics and Warehouse Management
Demonstrated previous experience in managing a warehouse function
Proven experience in successfully managing employee base in a complex industrial industry
Intermediate MS Office skills and other office-based technologies
Flexible to work various hours in line with operational requirements
Communicates at a level that clearly conveys information and ideas to a range of stakeholders through a variety of medium
Builds positive employee experiences through timely and appropriate feedback and engagement to strengthen the knowledge and skills of others
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Adaptability to technological advancements and market dynamics
