Your new role
This role is essential for identifying and connecting stakeholders across the Department to facilitate responses to information requests from external scrutiny agency investigations and coordinate meetings within internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration, cooperation, and the achievement of work output.
Key responsibilities include;
Manage and coordinate departmental responses to external agencies.
Oversee and supervise the activities of case officers to ensure high-quality outputs and adherence to set time-frames
Managing a team of case officers who handle departmental responses to agency investigations.
Serve as the relationship manager for external scrutiny bodies managed by the section, acting as the Departmental contact point for these agencies.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience in a similar position within the Australian Public Service. This role is only open to Australian citizens, and you must be willing to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)
Candidates who are permanently engaged with the APS and are seeking a Section 26 Transfer are also encouraged to apply.
