Fitter/Machinist role in Mascot We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our clients team based at their workshop in Botany. Mainly workshop based role but may require occasional site works when necessary. Candidates must have previous experience working in a workshop as Fitter Machinist and at least 5 years experience. Ongoing opportunity with possibility of permanent work.
Responsibilities include:
Manufacture of components using information taken from engineering drawings and samples
Competent working and operating manual/Centre Lathes, Milling machines, Radial Drills, Band Saws, Circular Saws, Pedestal Grinders and Horizontal Boring machines.
Cut materials to length.
Read and complete ITP?s and ITC?s.
To be considered for this position you will:
Be a qualified and experienced tradesperson Fitter / Machinist
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Must be able to follow task specific instructions.
Be reliable and punctual.
