The Administration Officer (Rosters) key responsibilities are:
Develop and maintain rosters to meet operational needs that are in accordance with award provisions and other associated industrial instruments, preferably within a 24/7 operating environment.
Process staffing variations and overview overtime approvals in consultation with relevant managers as appropriate.
Liaise on a regular basis with the Administration Officer (Payroll) and Youth Detention Centre Managers to ensure that all rostering and staff movements are captured and reflected correctly on the HR Payroll system.
Develop and maintain positive and robust communication links with all levels of employees within the centre.
Provide informed and accurate advice and support to managers and staff on all roster, leave, employee entitlement and other associated issues.
Provide administrative support including input of data into various computer-based systems including data entry for rosters.
