Pig Farmer at Neuendorf Farming
Neuendorf Farming operates a 300 sow, farrow to finish, pig breeding and production business at Kalbar in South-east Queensland and invites suitable applicants to apply for the position of Pig Farmer in our farrowing/breeding and production sections.
This is a fulltime position and operates 7 days a week. Suitable applicants will need to be prepared to work weekends.
Annual total salary will be no less than $70,000/a. Applicants are required to have an AQF degree level qualification relevant to the position together with at least 3 years relevant work experience in pig breeding and production.
Our successful candidate must have:
• a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to learning new skills
• good attention to detail and record keeping
• good communication skills to fit in with our team but also be able to work independently
• have a reasonable level of fitness to cope with the physical demands of the role which include manual handling tasks including lifting and repetitive movements.
