Position Summary Supervises and participates in the daily operations of the Meat Department. Supports the Meat Department managementteam in promoting a high level of productivity. Implements and upholds proper Meat Department and general safetyprocedures and standards. Maintains courteous member service at all times. Follows proper safety procedures and standards. Job Duties/Essential Functions
Develops, coaches, counsels, and directs Meat Department personnel
Monitors employee performance and provides proactive feedback to promote teamwork and accountability
Participates in the employment process by making recommendations for hiring, promotion, and termination
Participates in Meat Department employee evaluations
Responds to employee concerns using problem solving skills, tact, and discretion in accordance with the Costco Employee Agreement and other applicable regulations
Approves timecards and other reports
