An exciting opportunity exists for an Allied Health Clinician (Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker) to join the Gympie Mental Health Service to deliver clinical based care specifically within the Continuing Care Team, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS), in line with evidence-based care to support individuals' recovery journey.
Gympie Mental Health Service is a dynamic team working in a large geographical area, providing comprehensive assessment, treatment, and case management to people with severe and complex mental health problems.
The team has many functions including Emergency Department Mental health, Acute Care Team, Child and Youth Mental health, Older Persons Mental health, Continuing Care Team, and Cultural Healing Program. At times this position may be required to support any number of these sub teams of Gympie Mental health if operationally required, to support the high level of care
