Jeweller, Luxury Retail, Sydney CBD based
I am currently partnered with the Richemont Group who are looking for a Jeweller to join their highly experienced team in Sydney, with a salary of $105k+ plus super.
The Jeweller will perform diagnosis and all kinds of jewellery interventions (sales support, repair services), including maintenance, generic services as well as complex interventions, following Maison guidelines. The Jeweller will also ensure excellence in execution to meet service standards (lead time and quality) of the Maison and be customer service oriented with good communication skills and a problem-solving attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform technical evaluation and quotation according to Maison policy and client request
Support sales interventions: Bracelet and necklace chains re-sizing (extension/reduction), Ring-sizing (extension/reduction) traditional technique and with ring-guard, spring, beads, Earring adjustments, Customised engraving, Cleaning
Provide After-sales services and own stock maintenance: Soldering, Exchange components (clasps, earring pins), Stone exchange, Polishing
Conduct quality checks on products after repair
Use online Maison technical instructions and information
Ensure cleanliness of the work area environment
Maintain tools and equipment
Provide timely feedback on technical issues and continuous improvement ideas with management
Participate in / animate events upon Maison request (if applicable)
To be successful in this role you will have graduated with a diploma related to jewellery and/or equivalent experience in jewellery repair, be familiar with Gold in different colours, polishing, laser-welding and different sensitive materials and stones: Gemstones, Pearls, Wood, Porcelain Resin etc.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and efficiently provide a high level of quality and the ability to analyse and solve problems by using adequate processes and tools available is also highly regarded. Experience in Stone-Setting and Rhodium plating would be an advantage.
