Clough is in alliance with the Water Corporation and Jacobs, to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities. We currently have an opportunity for a Materials Supervisor to join the Woodman Point Project team on site. In this role, you will effectively supervise and complete nominated material management tasks within the project with a key focus on quality and safety ensuring activities are on schedule and within budget. Coordination of project warehousing, site services activities, materials laydowns, & logistics activity with particular emphasis on management on warehousing and warehouse storage areas, including receipt, inspection, and dispatch of materials & equipment from site.
Maintenance of materials tracking records within Inventory systems for materials & consumable's, associated logistics movement & storage location.
Overall area supervision of site services team including materials, equipment, and subcontractors (when requested). Implement the developed work methods and ensure that the required quality standards are met safely and within the environmental constraints.
Manage the projects material management system
Creation of Purchase Requisitions on the projects procurement system.
Ensure that all incidents and injuries that occur are reported and addressed as quickly as possible. Facilitate Pre-Start, Toolbox and JSA meetings. Participate and promote the Safety Management Plan and the Environmental Management Plan.
Direct day to day communication with other supervisors and leading hands. Ensure all crew members timesheets are completed promptly.
Implement pre-start/toolbox meetings and JSA inductions and counsel your crew on behaviour / performance.

What you will bring to the team:

Construction White/Blue Card
Trade Qualification or significant on the job experience
5+ years minimum experience in similar role; or
2+ years site-based experience in construction/engineering/mining environment
Current Australian "HR" Class Drivers licence & PTD
Fire Extinguisher Training (highly desirable)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Independent self-driven team player approach, exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to problem solve and engage internal and external stakeholders
