Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform both workshop and mobile maintenance on rolling stock and various mechanical equipment.
• Carry out routine examinations, fault-finding, and diagnostic testing.
• Perform repairs and rebuilds of rolling stock and various mechanical equipment as required.
• Perform equipment isolations as necessary.
• Ensuring adherence to safety procedures and quality standards will be a key part of the role.
• Identify and report any issues with equipment or materials.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area will also be required.
To be a successful applicant, they will need to possess the following:
• A Fitter Trade Certificate.
• Current Work at Heights and Confined Space certificates are advantageous.
• A strong commitment to safety is essential.
• A White Card or equivalent is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain one.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• The successful candidate will be punctual & reliable.
They may be required to undergo a Medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
