Our client RMZ Oilfield Engineering, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas servicing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Engineering Manager/Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the creation of innovative product designs and improvement/development to existing product designs.
• Regularly engages with third parties (e.g. customers, suppliers, vendors, etc), contributing to the technical specifications development.
• Responsible for various aspects of projects and collaborates with support teams to develop operational procedures.
• Manage projects, liaise with clients, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate/lead teams distributed across RMZ offices to deliver engineering solutions. Managing projects includes providing advice on design, installation and support (maintance) for services.
• Management of engineering design modifications, involving the review as well as approval of engineering’s drawings.
• Work closely with different team members to develop project schedule and budgets.
• Work as part of a team to ensure all aspects of Australian laws, safety standards are adhered to.
• Lead and contribute to consulting studies, including concept and feasibility studies, design validation, analytical and numerical modelling, and providing bespoke solutions to offshore integrity and structural issues.
• Oversea client maintenance requirements and ensure delivery of services are delivered within scope, budget and timelines.
• Proficient in appointed meetings to ensure the compatibility, interfaces, and functionality of relevant components within associated systems.
• Attends project meetings, where technical details are presented.
• All other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Minimum Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant working experience
• Understanding of various industry standards and offshore operations
Salary: The salary for this position will depend on experience. The role is advertised between $75k to $125k depending on experience.
