Summary:
Our client, Uppal & Dhillon Group Pty Ltd, is seeking to add a Truck Driver to their expanding team. With a strong history of commitment to safety and reliability, they are looking for candidate who is dedicated and experienced.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours and kilometres driven.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo as required.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicle.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
- Ensure the security of all transported goods.
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:
- Hold a Certificate III in Driving Operations.
- Possess at least one year of truck driving experience.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safe driving practices.
- Exhibit reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Capable of performing minor vehicle maintenance tasks.
