The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Maintenance team at our Western Port Manufacturing facility as an Electrical Maintenance Technician. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products Portfolio, we have four major manufacturing departments at Western Port which operate 24 x 7 and deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to export and domestic customers.
In this critical role, you will be able to use your technical background and experience to deliver key outcomes by applying your skill and knowledge. Your contributions will ensure that the equipment on our production line experiences maximum up-time and reliability.

What Will You Do?
Working in a supportive environment, you will contribute to the safety of our people, the quality of our product and the reliability of our equipment. You will achieve this by:
- undertake day-to-day activities - troubleshooting problems, documenting the root cause of issues and recommending robust solutions
- monitoring, reporting and documenting work into our Maintenance Management System on the process line equipment condition
- working within the maintenance team - contribute to planning and continuous improvement initiatives
This role will require occasional shift work coverage by the department to support the 24x7 operation.
