Your new role The Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety. Through rigorous audits, inspections, analysing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Quality Engineer ensures that the products meet or exceed customer requirements. Key Responsibilities;

Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet the requirements and scope of work
Liaise with the larger team to ensure delivery of projects
Participate in AS9100 audits (internal and external)
Manage and optimise the product quality by working with manufacturing and assisting in the implementation of standard processes and measures to ensure maintenance of the defined standard.
Review, Update and Release of Control Plan as required for all components and Manufactured Items.
Take corrective action when necessary and ensure timely completion.
Liaise with the Quality Department on quality issues and rectification as required.
Actively participate in the development and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS)

What you'll need to succeed

A strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Communication skills.
AS9100 and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) knowledge.
Accreditations in Lean Six Sigma and other manufacturing methodologies are highly regarded.

Tertiary Qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing or similar discipline


Australian Citizen preferred, eligible for Defence Clearance desirable
