Our client based I northern suburbs of metropolitan Adelaide is looking for skilled meat workers for their kangaroo processing plant. Skilled Boners/Slicers The position would involve the following duties: Table boning. Cutting meat to separate meat, fat, and tissue from around bones. Washing, scraping, and trimming foreign material and blood from meat. Cutting meat into standard meat cuts, and removing internal fat, blood clots, bruises, and other matter to prepare them for packing and marketing. Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications Excellent knife skills and maintenance of personal equipment Attention to detail Excellent reliability, attendance and timekeeping at work Good communication and positive teamwork Sound problem solving capabilities, including reporting malfunctioning of equipment, or workplace health and safety issues Ability to manage priorities to meet production schedules Ability to work within a cold storage environment and with raw meat products Sound understanding of Australian meat industry AQF
