The Opportunity

Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
Being in an influential role that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality and reliability of our equipment and products, you will support our operations leaders, focussing on process enhancement, business strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives as you support the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

What Will You Do?
In this hands-on, integral role, you’ll work closely with our operations and sales teams as well as our logistics suppliers by efficiently coordinating various administrative tasks. Your contribution will ensure smooth operations and adherence to compliance standards, ultimately driving our business success. You will be responsible for:
- accountable for managing all operational administration tasks effectively such as purchasing operational consumables, invoicing, incident management and much more
- identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
- develop and improve processes for onboarding, training, and coordinating labour hire.
- developing and maintaining strong relationships with business leaders to support the growth and performance of our teams
- lead by example in promoting a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- promoting well-being and inclusive behaviour
More About You
You don’t have to come from a steel background – perhaps you have developed your operational skills in a broader manufacturing environment. Where you will add value from day one will be by using your natural curiosity and inquisitive nature to learn about our products and provide support to our successful team.
Being a reliable and dedicated individual with an interest in system and process improvement and a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring:
