We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to manage and mentor a team of three Account Executives focused on acquiring franchise businesses. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three Account Executives, fostering a high-performance culture.
Strategic Planning: in coordination with Afterpay’s Head of Franchise develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for acquiring franchise businesses, aligning with overall company objectives.
Performance Management: monitor team progress against quota by creating relevant KPI’s and providing constructive feedback and support to achieve these targets.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential franchise opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
Pipeline Management: Oversee the franchise sales pipeline and forecast.
Merchant Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key franchise partners, acting as a trusted advisor and point of escalation.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Risk and Operations, to ensure alignment and support for franchise acquisition efforts.
Reporting: Provide regular sales updates and forecasts to senior management, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for professional development within the team to enhance their skills and performance.
