We are seeking a focused, motivated, and energetic individual for the role of Engineering Technologist to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
• Development and delivery of technically acceptable mechanical installation engineering services to support project outcomes against agreed project budgets and schedules.
• Providing the engineering assistance to the mechanical team members
• Develop technical documents required for procurement of the mechanical air conditioning and Ventilation equipment
• Work with Technical Specialists to ensure specification compliance, technical integrity for technical performance.
• Meet/discuss regularly with the discipline lead to report progress and areas of concern
• Be a proactive member of the project, prepared to work outside conventional boundaries in cooperation with other team members to ensure complete coverage of each work scope.
• Leading and contributing to the preparation of proposals and bids for projects
• Providing creative solutions to fit the needs of our clients and communities
• Preparation of engineering drawings, calculations and reports
• Concept and detailed design within multidisciplinary projects.
• Presenting and engaging clients with innovative and sustainable design solutions
• Focusing on excellent client service and project delivery
• Validates design criteria for new HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air-conditioning installations systems
• Provide and delivery of the project engineering, commissioning and documentation to Australian standards.
• Provide a high level of technical support to the project team and associated technical support teams.
• Project planning; scheduling and budgeting.
• Ensure cost effective and efficient system design.
• Contract administration and delivery; cost and billings forecasts; purchasing; resource allocation.
• Work closely with the customer, end user and other relevant parties to ensure project outcomes meet and exceed expectations including (EEP) Standard.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work independently within existing protocols.
• Good communication skills
Annual Salary offering between $73,000 to $85,000.
