Our client, located in the Greenstone Belt, is seeking a Technical Services Manager to join their cost-efficient gold mining operation. This position reports directly to the General Manager and involves leading the Technical Services Team.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mining Engineer;
Highly developed knowledge of Mining Standards;
Exposure to different mining methods;
Team orientated with a background in change management.
Position Duties:
Provide input into the annual budget planning cycle and on-going forecasts to support the achievement of site strategic plan objectives and ensure that mining related issues are considered and communicated to appropriate parties;
Support Mining Operations to deliver the Business plan, by leading Medium & Long-Term planning, Geotechnical, Survey and Infrastructure functions;
Assist with the delivery of mine modernisation projects to improve safety and productivity;
