Due to the recent expansion, we require more Maintenance staff to cover the extra work that will be required to look after it.
We are seeking an experienced and trade qualified Maintenance (Commercial / Industrial) Electrician to join the team at our Grantham Processing Plant. It is desirable that the successful applicant should have experience within the food or meat processing industry however this is not essential. The successful applicant should have a proven track record in Electrical Maintenance and possess a good knowledge of workplace health & safety requirements and excellent interpersonal skills. The pay rates are above award and industry with very good employment benefits and conditions. We are only looking for the best to join our team.
Essential requirements for the position:
• MUST BE -Trade qualified Australian Electrician this is not open to any overseas candidates
• Demonstrated ability to repair and maintain plant & equipment
• Timely diagnosis for resolution of problems in electrical circuits
• PLC experience
• Training can be provided to any qualified Electrician with Commercial or Industrial experience
• Extensive experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician
• Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces
• Proven commitment to safety in Lockout procedures
• Have a commercial mindset for minimizing downtime in production
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to work Day and Afternoon Shift on a rotational basis
• Periodic weekend work is required
