Jasmax in Australia
Jasmax is one of Australasia’s leading architecture and design practices, aiming to produce work that is mutually beneficial to both society and the environment. In 2022, the practice embarked on an exciting new chapter of its 60-year legacy by expanding into the Australian market and establishing a Sydney studio.
With a diverse team of architects, interior designers, landscape architects and urban designers, Jasmax brings together a multi-disciplinary collective of talented professionals, who work collaboratively across four studios in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Sydney.
About the role
Located in Chippendale, our Sydney studio offers the unique chance to shape your future in the architectural field. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a variety of high-quality projects across various sectors.
Under the mentorship of seasoned Architects and the Studio Lead, you will not only contribute your own creative vision but also continue to learn the intricacies of architectural practice.
This hands-on experience is invaluable, providing a platform to refine your design skills, navigate client needs, and respond to the complexities of architectural projects from conception to completion.
What you will bring
As a dynamic person with a Master of Architecture, along with 5 to 10 years of industry experience, you are brimming with passion and enthusiasm.
Ideally, you will have a keen eye for design, experience collaborating in diverse project teams of consultants/stakeholders, strong documentation skills (competency in Revit is preferred), and confidence in communicating directly with clients.
Your willingness to learn and adapt will be key, as you will have the chance to be engaged directly across a variety of project scales and typologies.
