We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. The Payroll Officer will be responsible for assisting in the end-to-end payroll function, including reviewing and improving processes and systems. This role will involve setting up new employees in the payroll system, calculating and processing payroll liabilities, and resolving employee inquiries related to payroll matters. The Payroll Officer will also stay updated with payroll legislation developments and provide support to the Payroll Supervisor as directed.
This role will report directly to the Payroll Supervisor and will be based at our office in Wetherill Park.
Duties & responsibilities:
Reviewing, processing, and adjusting payroll payments, covering both regular and special payrolls such as fortnightly, weekly, and monthly cycles.
Collaborating on transitioning payroll operations for two newly acquired businesses, overseeing the integration of their payrolls into our systems.
