Our client is seeking a Stonemason to join their team in Smithfield NSW.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Cutting and shaping stones using machines or hand tools
Designing, cutting and carving masonry, including headstone lettering and details
Selecting the best stone for the job or working with an appreciation for the stone selected by the client
Read and interpret blueprints and plans
Repairing stone facades
Strong attention to detail
Skills and Attributes:
At least 4 years’ experience in stonework and installation
Certificate III in Stonemasonry or equivalent
Physically fit and ability to work in a team environment
