What you will do:

Reporting to the Operations Manager to manage a seamless Park operation through the provision of consistent high standards in product, guest services and a wide range of interpretative activities.
You will also:

  • Oversee and take accountability for the smooth running of the Parks day to day operations
  • Ensure an amazing, guest experience, immaculate product and continue to drive the customer journey
  • Maintain appropriate levels of employees in all areas of the Parks operations and ensure the Park is structured effectively in order to exceed guest service
  • Oversee asset management focusing on the protection and preventive maintenance of key assets and buildings
  • Manage financial budgets in respect to incremental revenue targets and labour and operating costs and monthly re-forecasts
  • Capital works project management
  • Establish, monitor and manage key business performance indicators
  • Monitor and maintain a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employees
  • Manage, develop and assist to recruit employees of all levels

This is a rewarding and challenging experience for the right person - no one day will be the same. Either the Park Manager or Assistant Park Manager will be required to live onsite (we are currently recruiting both roles). Separate onsite accommodation is available for both positions with subsidised rent as part of the contract of employment.

What you will bring:

Our ideal candidate will have relevant hotel/resort/park management experience where initiative, organisational and advance planning skills are essential. You will be able to demonstrate experience in overseeing teams and the ability to understand and interpret awards and certified agreements.  We welcome individuals that are innovative and have a customer and commercial focused mindset.

  • Previously managed or held a senior role in a holiday park, resort, hotel, or similar tourism related role
  • Proven experience in leading successful teams through building and maintaining a positive culture
  • You will have experienced working in an environment where initiative, organisational and advance planning skills are essential
  • Previous oversight in managing properties with food concepts, or events will be highly regarded
  • You will demonstrate a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of an operational leadership team who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest relations
  • You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have proven evidence of successful financial and strategic management and ability
  • You walk the talk and can communicate to and manage teams at all levels.
