We are seeking a full-time Logistics Support Officer based in our office in Newstead. This position provides logistic support to facilitate the packing and transportation of containers from warehouse to port. This is a fixed term one-year role.
Responsibilities:
- Create warehouse packing orders
- Prepare and lodge EDN and request for permit applications
- Facilitate booking truck transportation
- Liaise with shipping lines for booking and container releases
- Process contracts and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Providing assistance for data entry of export information via in-house program
Attributes and skills:
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Positive attitude with ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Previous administration experience
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced position
