Job Description
General Summary:
The Senior Clinical Research Associate is responsible for the clinical monitoring and site management of at least 1 clinical site, as well as training and support of CRAs within the department. The role is also responsible for contributing to Clinical Monitoring department initiatives as a technical resource.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform site qualification, site initiation, interim monitoring, site management and close-out visits
(performed on-site or remotely) for their assigned site(s) and support the CRA team as needed, ensuring regulatory, ICH-GCP and protocol compliance
Co-monitor and perform quality oversight monitoring visits, as needed
Support CRA team with audit and inspection readiness activities
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in a therapeutic area and provide training and mentoring to CRAs
Develop/contribute to the CRA onboarding training documents and present to new team members
Develop and present updates and lessons learned to the Clinical Monitoring department
