Take on this rewarding opportunity within a leading renewable energy business as a Financial Accountant. You will be supporting the month-end, general ledger management and EOFY.
Your day-to-day: General Ledger Maintenance:
Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial transactions in the general ledger.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Ensure all entries comply with accounting standards and company policies.
Intercompany Transactions:
Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of intercompany transactions.
Assist in resolving intercompany variances and discrepancies.
Month-End Reporting:
Prepare and post month-end journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
Support the finance team in month-end closing activities, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Year-End Audit:
Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements.
