Were seeking a driven and experienced Maintenance Technician to support our Power Plant team. This is your chance to be part of something new and exciting in the Pilbara. This role will be on a permanent basis, 2/1 FIFO day shift roster FIFO from Perth to Cape Preston.
The power station is a huge combined-cycle, gas-fired plant with 480 megawatt design capacity it has seven gas turbines, three steam turbines and six heat recovery generators, meaning it generates 40% less emissions than an open-cycle plant while producing enough power to supply a major regional town.
In this role youll be responsible for:
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements on mechanical power systems for consistent delivery of power (Working on valves, fans, pumps, motor alignments, gearbox change outs etc)
Ensure safe operation of power station equipment.
Contribute to achieving team goals.
