Whats the role?
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational activities, troubleshooting, minor maintenance tasks, and acting as the Area Owner for all wells and gathering systems in an assigned geographical area. The Senior Wellsite Operator also works closely with Production Engineers (PEs) to optimise well performance and investigate issues.
Ensure safe operation of assigned well & gathering assets, maximising Production and Well Availability.
Ensures a strong focus on Operational Excellence, Maintenance Excellence and Production Optimisation initiatives within their geographic area of responsibility.
Troubleshoot well site, hydraulic power units, gathering and communication systems.
Identify current and potential well site issues through data.
Analysis of trends in available production monitoring tools and systems.
Undertake safe start-up, shutdown, and isolation of well sites.
Complete well site surveillance and optimisation tasks and undertake downhole failure investigations as directed by Production Engineer team.
