Come and discover the opportunity to join our Fielders Production team in our BlueScope Building Components business as a Machine Operator with our Cladding Team at our Campellfield facility in Victoria. Originating in Adelaide, Fielders now manufactures and markets steel building products across Australia. We redefine construction materials, blending innovation with architectural brilliance. As pioneers in the industry, we create products that transcend beyond functionality, making bold statements in innovation and design.
Operating Monday to Friday, we have multiple opportunities available and offer the following shifts, along with quarterly bonuses for our full-time operators.
Day – 7am to 3pm and Afternoon – 3pm to 11pm
You can work full time or part time and we have a variety of shift patterns available to fit your lifestyle, including some family and school friendly hours.

What Will You Do?
As a reliable operator on our roll form machines, you play a crucial role in cutting and shaping products into component parts. Your commitment ensures our products are delivered to customers with utmost quality and precision.
You will likely have the following attributes:
- Technical Proficiency: Highly detailed-oriented, excelling in setup and operation of the Quadro roll former for efficient production, along with other supporting tools and machinery to achieve the best outcome
- Cladding Expertise: Skillful in notching and folding end details for various cladding profiles, coupled with understanding of tool cassette changeovers
- Material Knowledge: In-depth understanding of COLORBOND® and diverse surface finishes within the manufacturing context
- Quality Assurance: Conducts thorough part inspections and provides quality assurance sign-off
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Engage, contribute, and communicate openly with team members. Embrace diversity and foster a cohesive, productive environment
More About You
Being a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring:
- experience operating roll formers in the Sheet metal industry is an advantage
- familiarity with a variety of materials, particularly in light gauge materials, is highly desirable
- proven track record in precise roll forming processes and proactive quality assurance
- positive and can-do attitude, with seamless collaboration skills
- commitment to delivering excellence aligned with high standards
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
