The Purpose:
Australian Payments Plus (AP+) is seeking an experienced Organisation Development and People Experience Partner to join our People & Culture team where you will play a critical role in driving our people strategy and enhancing the employee experience.
As the Org Dev and Experience Partner, you will be responsible for collaborating with AP+ teams to understand people and organisation capability requirements, issues and opportunities now and in the future, and for brokering intelligent, fit-for-purpose solutions to those requirements.
Day to day, you will be accountable for collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders to design and deliver organisational initiatives that contribute to AP+ organisational effectiveness, evolve culture in line with purpose, support the achievement of strategic goals, and create an exceptional employee experience for AP+ people and teams.
This is a challenging position that requires you to find a balance in delivering fit for purpose customer-centric solutions to problems, upholding high standards, working with a wide variety of stakeholders, and driving to outcomes. Significant influencing and collaboration skills are required, as is the ability to coach and guide leaders in more senior positions.
Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate is practically minded and delivery-oriented, with the ability to shape, build and deliver a wide range of initiatives for implementation. You’re highly capable, a strong collaborator, and willing to roll up your sleeves and own the design and implementation of your work.
You’ll work with internal stakeholders and the P&C team to design, develop and deliver initiatives that support our culture, capability and eX strategies. This includes:
- Personal growth and career development,
- Employee engagement and experience,
- Org effectiveness and operational excellence,
- Org capability development,
- Culture and ways of working, including change practices, and
- DEI and belonging.
In order to be considered for this role you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Deep experience (10 years minimum) in org effectiveness, org development, and employee experience.
- Designing and facilitating capability development programs and employee experience solutions across diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering high quality programs and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of modern OD and employee experience practices.
- Subject matter expertise in organisation capability development, organisation effectiveness, employee experience, and agile ways of working.
- Demonstrated skill in collaboration and influencing.
- Ability to project manage your work.
- Ability to use data to identify themes and priorities linked to strategy and culture outcomes.
- Experience and ability to navigate and embrace complexity and ambiguity, and to create simple and scalable solutions in an evolving environment.
- Experience in an APRA regulated environment (Financial Services preferred) is preferred but not essential.
