The Opportunity
Hitachi has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Service Supervisor to join our busy Newcastle branch. The key focus of this role is to provide guidance and leadership to our technicians for the Newcastle region.
Reporting to the Branch Co-ordinator, you will:
Ensure our service employees comply with all WHS responsibilities, and that above all, a safety-first culture is a consistent behaviour within the team
Mentor, guide and support the team to improve performance and efficiencies through training, performance appraisals and performance management.
Ensure efficient utilization of equipment and labour resources in line with customer requirements and agreed budgets
Provide technical guidance and support to service team members
Work closely with the Branch Administrator to manage Service Department
