Key accountabilities of the role are:
-Complete testing processes and work programs, including:
planning and managing the process from start to finish.
researching and understanding business requirements relating to existing and new functionality or system changes.
preparing of SIT and regression test scripts that adequately test system changes and enhancements.
identifying and requesting test data required for test scenarios.
conducting/running test processes and scripts.
comparing actual results against expected results.
manage defects/issues and where possible identifying the cause of the defect.
documenting test results and final reports
- Liaise regularly with business analysts, developers, functional analysts and service management team to plan effectively and perform testing activities within agreed time frames.
- Liaise with business representatives for clarification of requirements and to support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
