About the role
Bathurst Regional Council is currently looking to appoint aTourism Services Officer on a permanent full-time basis within its Tourism Section based at the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre (BVIC). The position requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic person capable of working independently to provide outstanding customer service and accurate relevant information to visitors to the Bathurst region and the local community.
Reporting to the Manager Tourism & Visitor Services, you will have a proven track record of exceptional communication and customer engagement skills, along with interpersonal, teamwork, relationship building and networking skills. You will be highly organised and capable of displaying initiative and effective time management. You will be joining a positive team environment dedicated to showcasing the Bathurst region and growing our regional tourism footprint.
